I adore my motorcycle which I bought over the summer. I did feel bad for abandoning my trusty scooter, that had served me well for so many years. But the allure of faster and sexier transportation was too much to resist. So I will now introduce Suzi Suzuki:
She is 26 years old, older than some of my dates, ha!
Small at 250 cc but our relationship is not long term, and I will probably upgrade in a year
Single cylinder, 5-speeds
284.4 lbs and 29.1" tall, which makes her a bit on the short and heavy side, but she carries it well
Blue with chrome, she will really shine when you spend some time with the polish. Some of her favourite activities are driving the Great Highway and going to the park. Her least favourite thing to do is fall over, and break her right front light which has happened twice, thank god for epoxy!
I decided to use clay as my medium for its versatility and because I love having it all over my hands. It probably took me about 10 hours to sculpt and then paint my little model. I did forget to get black acrylic paint, so had to make do with watercolour. I still need to put a medium on the paint for protection. One of my favourite parts was using sewing pins for the spokes, tricky but highly effective.
The real thing is sadly hiding under a blue tarp until the rain stops and we can continue our journeys around the city.

The replica is amazing, and that final photo is hilarious.

For a while somebody was going around with sockpuppet accounts flagging tasks to 1 away from being disqualified. General consensus decreed that this behavior sucked, and SSI put a stop to it.
