For The Win! by Alana Abbott

I've been trying to think of a message that I wanted to send to a corporation, and couldn't really find a voice. But then the WGA Writer's Strike happened, and suddenly, I thought I might have something to say. So this is my message to NBC first (because I found their actors supporting the writers), but to all of the networks after them. Let's give the writers the minimal percentage of new media profits they're asking for and get our shows back! :)

In response to a comment below, I have sent this to NBC. (My understanding of "express" was a little more passive than required by the task!) Unfortunately, the only way to reach NBC seems to be through Customer Service. This is the letter I sent them, with the link to the image included:
Dear NBC,
Thank you for your high quality television shows! It is with both gratitude and concern that I write this note. Many wonderful writers are now standing at your gates, asking for a small percentage of the profits on new media. I sincerely hope you're listening to what they have to say! I very much enjoy having the chance to watch my television online, when it's convenient for my schedule, and I'd love to think that my watching in some way contributes to the people who create the show.
I've created an image macro, featuring your actors, in the style of LOL Cats, which I hope will both entertain and bring the message closer to home: http://sf0.org/media/artiephesus/strikeheroeslol30071.jpg.
Please consider a quick resolution!
Best,

I couldn't stop at one, and had to add a second message to Fox, using the cast from the Sarah Connor Chronicles. I sent them the same basic e-mail above.

excellent macro - and a fine, articulate opinion (especially usage of 'lissen').

Brilliant. Were you on the picket lines? I wanted to be out there, and I would be, for support, if I wasn't working every day.

This is an excellent completion. And a great cause.

Alas, Lincoln, I didn't get out to New York to stand with folks. I've mostly been trying to spread the word online by blogging about it a bit. I'm glad SF0 gave me a way to help express my thoughts!
(originally: Did you send it to NBC?)
Nice work. Welcome to SF0!
