Today is Friday, January 30th. {{ Updates to this task since Jan. 30th indicated as such. }}
After sleeping for nine hours, I awoke at 9:42am feeling very refreshed. it's been a tough week, going to work as well as school, both of which i am very thankful i am not required to attend today.
My breakfast was very delicious - consisting of Jennie O Turkey Bacon and a scrambled egg with ground chili powder - yumm
I find myself watching probably the only family reality shows I actually enjoy - Jon & Kate plus 8 -
i <3 mixed families in the media! I just wish Kate wasn't as whitebread - but hey, what can i really ask for, it's America. and not somewhere like the Bay. heck, she's cool enough in my book.
11:55am: called Monkey Hero to go for a skate/ride around the town but apparently i disturbed his slumber and it was also very evident he was not ready for any adventure starting within the next five minutes.
so, i walked Zenzi (just finished her last sunday) out to the street and had myself a ball riding along empty streets and Alameda's beach side path. {{ Update: since Jan. 30th I have installed a front brake & metal MKS toe clips - a very necessary addition that allowed me to ride the Feb SF Critical Mass at the front of the pack! totally. bomb. }}
fixed gear, no brakes = pure heaven, i never want to walk again!
also, riding past the high school hipsters/scenesters with their $800+ off-the-rack glamor bikes was highly satisfying with my awesome home-grown fixie. breaking conventions is so very satisfying.
{{ Update: Within a week I've been holla'd at many times about my bike, such as "DAAAMN YOUR BIKE IS CLEAN!!" as well as propositioned for my bicycle parts - this one chap had the gall to come up to me and immediately ask if I'd like to sell my front wheel! to which i replied "No." without hesitation. He goes on to ask "it's a 650 right?" Again to which i reply "No." and ride off as the light turns green. Oh silly high school students capriciously spending their parent's money. }}
upon returning home, seeing all those wannabe cool-kids made me think of what pictures i should submit to Fixed Gear Gallery i.e. best fixie bike pr0n website. {{ two months later-- i still haven't submitted to FGG, but i have been accumulating more awesome pictures from which i can choose the most impressive! }}

after that, i begin uploading the last few pictures for Player Portrait task when my sister arrived home from finals at her high school. i walk while she rides Zenzi over to mom's for lunch, we eat pasta while watching FBI Files about a kidnapping in Miami on the Discovery Channel.
i ride back to my dad's, continue SFØ submissions, read the Alameda Journal's headline of human bones found during some construction, and offload pics from my external hard drive and camera so i can submit all the tasks i've been actually doing over the past month or two. {{ Update: from a later issue of the paper I find out they are indeed the bones of an toddler Ohlone girl, at least one hundred and fifty years old - and strangely not buried traditionally - which would be near a shell mound). }}
most of day spent looking like this:

programs watched on TLC, Discovery, Discovery Health:
+what not to wear
+weight loss surgeries & accompanying plastic surgery to remove excess skin/fat
+an interesting program about people who can either conduct or alter electrical currents/circuits around them and their various 'real life' drama.
FINALLY updated SFØ to reflect the majority the tasking i've been doing and thinking about in my "normal" everyday life.

Vote because I love how much you love your fixie.
(and I love that you broke the laws of youtube to show us that electric man)
