Shortly after my great-grandfather Ambrose Bechtle's death in 1957, my great aunts and uncles sold all of his land and the majority of his possessions (as stipulated in his will) and divided the profits amongst themselves. However, in the case of my grandmother, with whom he was the closest out of all his children, to her specifically he left a chest full of his most prized possessions.

The story accompanies the pictures...

The Necklace of the Subaltern Betrayer?

I think I'd need a "making of" before I understand what's happened here...this has an eerie feeling to it. Nicely done. :)

now, a 'making of' would certainly take away from the fun of it being counterfeit, don't you think? ;)

but if there are any specific questions about any aspect of my process, i'd be happy to indulge.

You astound me. and I for some reason had a feeling that you were going to replicate your great grandfather's picture as part of the task. ( XD )

Full on alternate reality generation. Nice. Borderline dieselpunk, definite pulp sensibilty.

Thrill to astounding adventures of Ambrose Bechtle, two-fisted scientist-explorer as he travels the most remote and mysterious corners of the globe in search of the ultimate treasure - KNOWLEDGE!
