INSTRUCTIONS: The first task reads: "Take a picture of yourself. " This is the only time a sous rature gesture will be made, so let us remind you: you may be your character, but your character need not be you.

To complete this task, I chose to document myself through synecdoche, in which a small part stands in for the larger whole.

- smaller

My Bloody Foot

My Bloody Foot

This is a self-portrait. My bloody foot, which was bloodied when I kept running for four miles even though something sharp was digging into my toe, pretty much sums up my inability to slow down when necessary. It is a trait I am working to overcome.

is that small part still attached to the larger part, or did you cut off your toe to complete this task?!

ROFL - happily still attached. Although if I ever do lose a toe, I will be sure to somehow use it in an SF0 task. :)

I went running, and ran perhaps a little too far. :) Came home and discovered... blood!
