Traffic and parking will always hover around the point where it's mildly annoying. If it gets too annoying, people trade autos for other transit. If it's too easy, more people will drive. Therefore, reducing automobile traffic would be counter productive, as it will only encourage people to own automobiles.

It is better to reward public transit riders. So we devised a bit of improvisational theater to perform to patrons of the bus. We performed it 4 times in a night, and the worst of those performances was caught on video.



The play is called "Muni Therapy". It is basically a chance for characters to tell their weird story about why they ride the bus. It would end with characters hooking up, or getting in a fist fight, or inviting the whole bus out to drinks.
The characters:

Avidd: Rides the bus all day since he got laid off to avoid being lonely.
Robert: Is a bike messenger without a bike.
Skippy: Can't park outside her lover's house cause husband is catching on
Tiffany: Rides the bus so she can drink more
Joe: Gets motion sickness and like's muni's slow pace
Khmer Mike: Only there to pick up girls
Sandwich: Likes to study on the bus
