Clever Vandalism by avidd opolis

INSTRUCTIONS: Vandalize cleverly. Go beyond simple graffiti and do something extra special.

The original Falco staircase (or Falcostiege) in Vienna was dedicated after the Musician's
death in 1998. The staircase is quite small and unimpressive.

Apparently the city was unable to find a street or bridge named after a
dead fascist which could be rededicated.

As of this week, San Francsico honors Falco with a plaque on the stairs leading to Coit Tower. At last, a fitting tribute

Oh, that so rocks! I just found out about this staircase a couple of weeks ago and thought it was so sadly undermarked. Thanks for helping bring proper homage to der Kommisar!

I saw this first on boingboing (in a very rare visit) and thought, "That really looks like an SF0 job..." Great work!

I voted for the awesome, but I'm commenting in honor of the dipshit boingboinger who bitched about the font. Unless that was one of ours logging in just for that comment. Nicely played "andrewm", nicely played
Oh and I note bb couldn't help but make mention of SF0 without mentioning McGonigal.

The person who put up the plaque was probably not the person who chose the font... And it may have had at least as much to do with Monochrom as with sf0. I can only speak as documentarian, since of course I can't take credit for placing it.

But for what it's worth, at least the font wasn't Comic Sans!

I would LIKE to believe this relates to the fact that blogger and local gadfly redacted is a real person and as such should be considered solely a documentarian of the presence of a Falcostiege in SF, whereas for the terms of our proof here, the vandalistic actions of the mountebank avidd opolis are, in terms of these real world documentations, to be considered fictive per descriptive precedents established here.

However, like I presume Bex & Lincoln do, I have my flag finger at the ready pending clarification.

I'm a little nervous about this... I had several people (on seperate occasions) ask me if I was the one that did it. People unrelated to sf0. I feel like trouble is headed my way. Anyone know any lawyers?
