Utilikilt Challenge by Bex., Ladybug

LadyBug:
I have long been a fancier of Utilikilts so this task caught my eye long ago.

In fact I have a modest collection of photos of Utiliklit sightings taken over the years.

But it wasn't until I became inspired by a shameless bit of advertising that I actually began to think seriously about how I might transform a traditional piece of clothing into something for today's style-conscious Super Herø.

The hunt was on for the perfect fabric, stylish, yet comfortable enough to be worn during even the most strenuous of tasks.
Once I found the fabric, it had to pass quality control for comfort. No one knows comfort better than Beni, my helper. I help her, she helps me.

Yes, this should work well for the cape.

It's always good to have quality control close at hand!

Vintage hooks and eyes

From my collection of notions that I inherited from my mom. Imagine, 25 cents for the entire card! You should see all the zippers I have!
I love reusing the vintage notions that I have, thinking about how far they've come from their time of manufacture. These little hooks and eyes had no idea they'd be part of fighting evil and defending Our Fair City.
Just hangin around waiting for a logo and a real Herø to wear.

Bex:
Oh happiest of Herøes am I!

I can confidently say that this is The Best Present I have ever received from someone other than my own mother!
I am going to wear this suit everywhere I go from now on!

If I keep practicing, maybe I'll have it by the time I qualify for the High Score Task...

My only contribution besides filling its shiny lycra folds, was to make the logo stencil for my CareBear identifying belly mark.
I'm getting pretty experienced at the stencil-making and spraypainting.

Thank you, Ladybug. You've made my wish come true!
LB:
You can clearly see from whence my inspiration has come! "Only" making the logo stencil and filling its shiny lycra folds is what makes this traditional item of clothing befitting of today's urbanite, fashion-conscious Herø.

I want to vote more. It is just so so cool. I particularly like this image of Bex in the heroic-flying pose. Rocking!

You've some serious skill in the fabric arts, LadyBug.
I'm glad you found a suitable task with which to claim credit for such lovely work.

The Kiltday Miracle! I'm a believer. there is no way something so bizarre could just be a coincidence

And the tasking pearls, of course! Jaw dropping, even.

Gotta have the tasking pearls when you're being this shiny!
