addendum
after a number of comments calling into question just how task specific this task completion really was, i felt compelled to submit a second mp3. this one was written and recorded in the time between when yellowbear left his last comment and time of this edit (around 2:30am monday morning). it is specific to this task, and addresses a number of unconventional things that i love in the very conventional form of a love song.

I really really like the song! and I'm happy somebody did this task. I'm afraid i can't vote though since i suspect it wasn't done for this task specifically (tell me if I am wrong of course). I'm very impressed that this got written and recorded in one day! Beautiful
interesting point, yellowbear. the song was written specifically to express my love for something conventional in an unconventional way (although, as the villain astutely pointed out, saying goodbye is a rather expected way of expressing love. i might, however, argue in my defense that sending someone a song you've written to tell them goodbye rather than actually telling them personally is less so). it is 100% true that i would have written this song and sent it to the recipient regardless of whether i saw this task or not. does it make a difference if i wrote and recorded the song before or after i read about the task if i would have done it anyway? i'll hold off on saying which way the chips actually fell until i get a consensus :)
There does seem to be an unspoken community consenus that desires things for sf0 to be done for sf0's sake.
Though there are many retroactive tasks that have been done very well, most shy away from it. It is naturally very common for those in first throse of sf0 love/adiction to show tremendous drive, and as a result scour the task page with an old photo or story in mind that 'fits' what the task says. (I am not say you did this, but many people have done this. they often come here and do lots and lots of task very fast and then leave). Even worse is when people just find a picture on google and post it as a completion that is their own. For these reasons i usually do not vote on things done retroactively unless some new action is taken for the purpose of the write up
This game is about doing and seeing things differently, being creative, expressing yourself, having fun. And I know that higher levels are needed to do 'cooler' tasks (which can sadly lead to a flurry of poorly done completions), but to me it is quality over quanity all the way. So far you are on the right track.
I try to look at a 15 point task and ask how i can do it and get 100 points worth of votes.
But as is always said in regard to such philosophical matters of sf0, there is no wrong way to play.
I am trying so so hard to play incorrectly. I am not succeeding.
