Note also the vine behind her, which is about 2 feet long and started out a three inch stem of vine with one leaf.
Daughter Six

This one has great blades and also some grand-daughters. Above is the mother plant of the "viney" one featured in earlier picture.
Training

These are the training grounds where offshoots transition from the mother plant into pots of their own.
Spider Plant Army

Here are the many plants, growing vigorously in my office. I have termed them my Spider Plant Army.
Scout

I say "army" because of plants like this brave one: the first scout, given to a co-worker. It sits on her desk, doing pretty well considering how small it once was.

Aren't they awesome? There's some that look soooo cool when they get totally crazy and huge like those variegatums that have like a billion little hangers or whatever. Also I just learned recently that they actually thrive on being rootbound, so I'm going to start putting multiple plants in a pot to see what happens, see if I can get one of those monster ones. I need to hang them over my desk for the full on 3-D jungle environment.
You are a wealth of knowledge, my green-thumbed friend. Keep dropping knowledge like that, and you just might earn my senatorial vote.....
I found the Daughter Six picture alone to be vote-worthy. What a magnificent photograph...
I'm a plant enthusiast, so kudos for your amazing army!
I only wish my cacti would do the same.. >.>
*sigh*
Yeah, I don't know a thing about cacti really. There's always cactiguide.com!
A vote for inducing curiosity in me about spider plants.
