I am, admittedly, not as creative as the gummies in my thanks, but felt the need to share this all the same.

hooray 'and'-ing 'or'-ed tasks. and holiday tasking!
oooh I am a sucker for abandonments. And pictures of their heyday. That is lovely.
I especially appreciate how inflating the duck after getting on the bus made it evident you were making this more difficult for no obvious reason, and how giving out little ducks made the whole thing participatory silliness and further brightened folks' day. yay.
aw, geez. I was so stuck on how I didn't get to do the parts of this one I thought would be really cool (the stained-glass-style binding, in particular. Or illustrations) that I didn't expect anyone to like it. I mean, more than I usually don't expect anyone to like anything I post.
In my honest opinion, it's not nearly as cool as morbid books made of toe tags, for one. Or squirrels.
The stars are actually part of a panel skirt I made ages ago, as I did some of the binding with the book balanced in my lap. They glow in the dark!
You put this far more eloquently than all my frustrated hand-waving and crass unscientific words have ever managed. Thank you. I'm not sure how I would have confronted the same base fears for a task, but you get a full lot of vote points for addressing that one alone.
(Also yay tasking during conferences. I keep meaning to, and then chickening out or succumbing to air-travel lurgy and sleeping. You've inspired me to try harder.)

awesome. all that remains is deciding whether or not to warn the next one of what they're in for....
