A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words by susy derkins

October 6th, 2007 12:24 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Create a story with pictures, no words are necessary. Not to be confused with Photographic Sentence.

Use thisfor inspiration.

"Sugar", is an original composition of my friend Philosophaster, who has made lots of interesting music. I asked him if I could use it here and he kindly agreed.

Very nice.

I think this is my favorite completion of this task so far. Enough of a coherent progression to count as a story, but much more interesting than a simple narrative illustration. And, kudos for not including any unnecessary words. (I quite like the music as well. It works.)

I like this new trend of including music. It adds.

I...had a surprisingly strong emotional response to the final picture. It was cool, I had no idea what was going on with the drinking, and then I was like, "oh. OH!"

Then I was like "oh." again, when I realized that this new structure was founded upon child alcoholism.
