INSTRUCTIONS: Propose a way that SF0.org can be improved.

Your proposition can then be debated in the "Comments" below, and it can be voted for.

The proposal with the most votes will be implemented. This is not subject to approval by the administrators of this site.

UPDATE: Yes it's a little late, but I don't want to see this retired.

Suggestion 1

The ability to message all of your friends/foes by entering something like [Friends] or [Foes] in the to: field when composing a new message.

Possible variations such as [Friends,Equivalenz] to message all of your friends in Equivalenz, etc.

Suggestion 2
When you submit a task, next to add another task, a link to the pre-tired task page of the task you just submitted, It's good to see it there!

Suggestion 3
Able to sort a players tasks by score, votes, comments etc. like the main praxis list.

Suggestion 4
Bonus points for high numbers of collaborators.

Eg, 5 bonus points for 5 collaborators.

10 for 10, plus the 5 for 5.

15 for 15, plus the 10 and the 5.

etc.

Suggestion 5 (awaits backlash)
The all time highscore boards.

Either one of the following-
1) They do not incorporate Impossible Exchange, and its gloriously high vote values.

2) Score for tasks from IE are recalculated using the flat vote value.

I've seen the tasking, It's brilliant. But scores like... this.

No doubt it's brilliant, but a score over 1000points without a large tower or flag in sight?

Please, for the sake of us Glasnost joiners who keep getting directed to the all time board.

IE players, consider these, surely the second option wouldn't be so bad?
It would level the playing field a bit.

I like it.
How about having different pre-arranged groups, so you could send out a mail to a certain list of people living in San Francisco, or in Great Yarmouth?

I guess you'd have to have 'mailing groups' for that.

Which you organize yourself.

I still like the idea!

Yeah, right. Maybe that's the whole trick, you get to make your mailing group however you see fit, you could have one that's just friends, and just foes, and everybody in GYØ, it's a little more labor intensive for you, the player, but worth it.

I think so.

It'd help when organising large collaborations, and mass photo changes.

Yes.
And I wish my foes showed up with my friends in the "friends comments" section and in the "friends completed tasks" section. Better to be "relations' comments" and relations' completed tasks," yes?

Yes, purely to keep an eye on The Villain!

Nah... I foed those bitched for a reason... I don't want their stupid comments showing up.

Yeah, the only reason I ever did want to see what my foes were up to was because of the Villain. But... he was my only foe, and now he's gone.

You're sad because you lack foes? What is this world coming to? If you need foes so badly, maybe you should go make some damn noise.

When did I explicitly say that I wanted foes? Please read more carefully next time before you patronize me and jump to false conclusions.

I'll jump your false conclusions, missy!

Oh, Mr. Lovely Burn Unit.

I didn't mean to be harsh/sassy, apologies. It's just a little offensive that you indicated that I don't make noise. True, I don't parade around declaring some sort of status (not that I really have one) but I am an active player and feel that I contribute some sort of positive aspect to this community. And the underwear shots? I think they are a far cry from risque. Keep in mind that I haven't and won't ever break the nudity barrier. They are just an example of what a loveable (maybe?) dumbass I am.

I have complete respect for you as a fellow player, person and an awesomely awesome tasker, and I just hope that things are clear between us. But seeing as we have formed somewhat of a rivalry, maybe a glove slap is in order :) And don't worry, I'm not craving foes. You are not on my list.

Whoops.

I just take things too seriously. I should probably work on that. :/

glove slap is my task, and no one has challenged me to a duel yet... so sad...

Start some beef with someone! Set up some bait, as burn unit calls it.

Many a Foe...
posted by Blue on November 1st, 2007 3:52 PM

I have cultivated many a foe...
Gramatical not correctness intentional
Although I lost The Villain because I unfoed him as to Foe him instead of him foe-ing me... but apparently that is not how it works.

This is a good idea but surely it could create some description of spam problem.

At the moment it is only worthwhile going through the effort if there is something worthwhile to say.
