Ideal Transit Map by Tøm

June 23rd, 2007 11:31 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a map of where you wish transit would go.

Right, some explanation.

I live in Great Yarmouth, but I only moved there a few years ago. Before then, I used to live in Banbury. This means that all my family are in Great Yarmouth, my old friends are too. I travel there quite a lot, but unfortunately it takes 3 hours to drive there, 4 in our old VW bus.

So, A nice rail network between Yarmouth, Banbury and London. London is included to extend the service a bit.

The rail operator for GY, one rail, did propose reopening the Great Yarmouth to Banbury service, which was a reality a while ago. But now, as Great Yarmouth has become less of an important fishing port/tourist resort, it is decommisioned.

Bring back the service!

Umm, no. Is Banbury for real?
