INSTRUCTIONS: Do something that you've done more times than you can count, but do it a way that you've never heard of.

the dishes...childhood chore, childhood bore. representative motion of the most suburban of tasks, the art of washing dishes comes to us as if natural, as if wholly synchronized with our biological rhythm. some of us are blessed with a two-basin sink, others doomed to suffer the inconvenience of utilizing one basin for washing and the same for rinsing.

silk jaws & i decided that, having indeed lost track of the number of dishes washed, it was time for us to clean them in the same place where dreams happen: a bed.

using old plastic drawers for the basins, we filled them with water (one sudsy, the other fresh) and placed them beside a drying rack on her bed. we then proceeded to...wash the dishes in bed!

suds.

bum.

the arrival of a clown! how curious.

here, an example of the trade-off pan hand-to-hand transaction. many were had.

the most trying experience during this activity was the climbing-into-bed. to spill dish water onto a clean mattress would be nothing short of tragic.

silk jaws was stuck.

we realized at this point that we must actually clean our dishes, so intensity was applied.

action throw!

stretch & appreciation?

things started heating up.
