Universal Declaration of Human Rights. by Juxtapolemic

4 October 2009. 9:19 p.m.: In a good-spirited gesture in support of Human Rights, I'm printing this document. I'm not sure if the paper on which I am printing this was made in such a way that infringes upon the rights in said document, but if it was, someone should do something about that, as well.
Given the atmosphere at my workspace, I don't think it will ever be taken down, but I'll document the process anyhow. Mainly I aim to take pictures of people reading it half-interestedly for purposes of extortion and blackmailing when opportunity arises.
5 October 2009. 11;37 a.m.: I've managed to get a few pictures of coworkers in their inspection of the document. Most importantly among them is the shot I got of my manager, Dan, in the midst of mock-disapproval.
1:18 p.m.: The Declaration is pretty much being ignored. The next plan is to try and generate discussion about it among those in the break room.
1:31 p.m.: Most people are much more interested in their lunch than in Universal Human Rights.
1:58 p.m.: I am sitting near the Declaration (phone duty!) and people now seem to be avoiding both the Declaration & me. I applaud the measures I've taken for Universal Human Rights, I believe I've made some impact today.
2:09 p.m.: More updates to follow. If there is anything relevant to add, that is.

The Manager takes Umbrage

He's pointing out that despite what Article 22 may say, those deductions aren't going to Social Security.

Then world is your lunch room! (I'm not sure who HR is in this metaphore, but who cares :-) )
For extra win you could also post it in someone else's work lunch room :-)

And how cool that your coworker is already empowering himself! :-)
