112 miles of biking and some running:
As my previous personal record was 55 miles of biking in one day, I knew I was in for a treat. I first biked from home (in Potsdam) to Brandenburger Tor in Berlin (approx 25 miles) and from there I followed the first part of the long-distance cycling route from Berlin to Copenhagen.
The highlight of the day was seeing a fox pup, and actually finishing of course :) If you're wondering about the picture quality, it's because, analogous to running photography, almost all pictures were made while biking :)
Let's go!

The Prussians have a slight megalomanic tendency.

One of the many lakes along the way.

Berlin

She was going fast :)

Spaghetti art work, approaching Berlin-City.

Ampelmann!

At Brandenburger Tor, start of the long-distance cycling route to Copenhagen.

The route indications were numerous, I hardly needed the map.

Doorbell at the Berlin Wall.

Go canoes!

Biking further...

Loveforest, which hippie wouldn't want to live in a place like that.

Continuing...

Sunset at the village of Heaven's gate.

...
On my way from Himmelpfort to Fürstenberg I saw a fox pup :) Unfortunately didn't succeed in making a picture.
...
After that I had the most surreal experience of the day. Biking past a former concentration camp.
...
With just a few more miles to go, I'm somehow very much looking forward to sitting on the train.
....
As I approached the finish in Fürstenberg, I saw my train arriving at the furtherst away platform. Assuming the middle of nowhere isn't rich in past sunset trains to Berlin, I ran for it. And made it just on time.

...
I had never been so tired in my entire life...
...
Some time later...
No more trains home.... Shall I take the bus... or.. shall I...

Bike some more :)
Finish

This is rad as is, but, i think it could be brought to perfection with a map of your route, and bonus perfect plus ultra if said map were annotated. :)
Yay! I have been cycling on much of the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route around Berlin myself (although never that far in one day).
