Night Photography by kristin gish, steve rules

We make the trek from Kristin's house to the local store quite often, for food or wine or something, and these pictures reflect what we see every time we do this. We don't usually stop and take this many pictures though, and it was nice to see things in a different way. The clock tower is close enough to Kristin's house that you can hear it go off every hour, which is a gentle reminder of the passage of time. The Schaumburg public library has some excellent architecture for a simple library, and while not all of the interesting facets are shown here, I think we've captured the feel of the place at night fairly well. And the picture of the wine, so close and yet so far away, is one of the saddest pictures ever taken.

I hope you were not expecting graveyards or run down cars.

Note: As far as the pictures go, even when split among two people writing 33 haiku's is quite a task. So if they're not all great, we apologize.

Wow, what kind of camera did you take these pictures with? Were they really developed with those scalloped edges?
