Naked Mail by Libris Craft

I've mailed naked before, let me tell you. But sometimes, the post office doesn't deliver. The fate of the giant pixie stick was never determined, and I shall not make that mistake again.
Also, I'm not actually a fan of torturing the post office. So, I wanted to do this task in a way that fulfills the requirements, results in the delivery of the item, doesn't make the mail carriers hate me, and amuses me.
I had already decided who I would send my naked mail to: my youngest sister, who I don't get to see nearly as often as I would like to. And what would I send? A pillow. It is contained, and with the use of my handy iron on transfer paper (already used in several tasks, including Player Photo, and Frank Frink's .45 Caliber) I can attach the address (and postage) so that they cannot easily be lost (I think this may have been the downfall of the pixie stick).
I went online, and purchased a printable postage-and-mailing-label thing from the post office. Then, I printed the label out. I wanted to use the rest of the sheet of transfer paper for something, so I printed out a Star Wars graphic, which would be the front of the pillow.
But something went wrong, and I ended up printing over the label! So I re-printed the label on the blank half of the sheet, and gave up on the graphic.
Now, I needed a new idea for the pillow, as my graphic was no longer going to work. I went diving through my stash of fabric, and found some charming lizards and toads.

I cut out a small pillow, and set to work sewing it.

After I had the side stitching done, I ironed on the label. I stuffed the pillow with fiber fill, and sewed it closed.

The pillow was ready!

I had to go to the post office to drop off another package, and buy stamps, so the next morning I made my way to my local branch. I handed the pillow to the wonderful postal employee, who complemented me on my forethought in attaching the label, and agreed to pose for me.

Now, would the mail make its way to my sister?
I splurged a little, and paid for delivery confirmation, so I would know if it got there.

It did! No word yet, as to how my sister liked her pillow, but I successfully sent naked mail.

This is a thoroughly awesome way of personalizing a gift.
