Make It Work by SNORLAX
February 5th, 2008 12:09 AMAlthough Apple computers have many advantages, one problem I have with them is that they always have bizarrely shaped cases. Recently I came by a "clearance sale" for dvd burners. I decided to buy a couple to cheaply upgrade some old computers. Unfortunately, when I stuck the burner in my computer, the faceplate on the front prevented the tray from opening. I had to make it work.
I started by ripping off the tray cover on the faceplate of the computer. (for the computer nerds out there, no i couldn't take the faceplate off the tray itself)

IT WORKS!!
I got a little carried away and started giving my computer speed holes

votes for recalling having to do a similar surgery to my OG G4 tower many years ago...
...and bigglesworth.
A vote for making it work and a vote for more ferrets on the praxis!
Wow, votes for daring to modify a case with a drill, and for the attempt at a happy face! And I'm amazed that the ferret puts up with that noise, I don't think either me _or_ my cat could stand being in the room with that for long....
the first thing i did was copy B5.
btw whats up with votes? is something wrong?? thats 2 or 3 people that supposedly voted, but didn't get counted.
Maybe they wrote vote, but forgot to actually vote. I think it happens often. I simply vote and then don't mention it. I like the confusion to go the opposite way.
I always assumed that people who compliment your task but don't vote for it were either A. unspeakably fickle, B. making fun of you, C. got distracted by something shiney, or D. All of the above
For a ferret perfectly used to drilling noises and for drilling in the most uncomfortable position for the sake of documentation.
