Trespassing by SNORLAX, Lank, Jeremy Cezanne

February 24th, 2008 2:56 PM / Location: 37.767489,-122.4539

INSTRUCTIONS: Go somewhere you are not allowed to go.

As a result of a prolonged and ongoing bout of sf0 stir-craziness, we used cover of darkness to sneak into many closed areas like super secret monkey ninjas.

KEZAR PAVILION:

We went into Kezar Pavilion (near the end of Haight st.) which has an indoor gymnasium (with full basketball court and seats) used by many local schools. Lank and I played a game of basketball with a soccer ball. I think Lank won.

While we were there, Lowteck found the controls to the scoreboard. We powered it up, but we weren't able to make the scoreboard come on - just the controller.

Then we decided to do trespassing within trespassing by using the women's bathroom:

CCSF:

Jeremy and I tried to find roof access at City College of San Francisco. Because of its location, the views from the roof are amazing. Unfortunately they keep the right doors locked and we had to leave unsuccessful. However we did manage to teach a science class.

UC Berkeley Extension SF:
formerly home to FAIS

For Jeremy and I, going into the UC Berkeley extension was a real treat. We had both gone to school there for over ten years until our school moved. It was revisiting a major part of our childhood. A place where we learned many things, ran amok, made friends etc etc.

For the last ten years, the buildings where our school was have been left neglected and unused. It was surrounded by impenetrable gates, walls, and fences. Fortunately, since we had spent years as children there, we knew the secret way around the inside of the area.

We tried to go inside twice. The first night there was a guard in the booth in the middle of the compound. We chickened out despite the fact that he was dead asleep.

We got inside our former school playground to find it in complete neglect. Ivy has almost completely covered many of the staircases and climbed up the sides of the buildings. And where out playground used to be, there were many trees (some big) growing out of the cracks in the cement.

I intended to walk around for a while and take a ton of pictures. But that was cut short. I tried to tried to go inside the gymnasium, but that set off an alarm and we ran away.

This looks a ton of fun and I find myself really wanting to go trespassing now.

I have been inspired. But seriously, exactly what is that sign supposed to say?

the sign is suppose to say "chemistry store room"
that would have been some real fun trespassing.
