Trespassing by Sam Archer

February 17th, 2012 8:15 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Go somewhere you are not allowed to go.

I always view "No Trespassing" signs and fences that guard large areas as interesting navigational challenges. Is it possible to get to the other side of the obstacle without ever directly crossing it, such that you could somewhat plausibly claim that the route you took didn't involve any obvious acts of trespass and you didn't know you weren't supposed to go there?

Follow my journey around the block to get to the other side of this vexing "Pedestrians Prohibited" sign.

Prohibited, eh?
Right turn. Heading around the block.
Up the hill.
Hard to see it, but there's a convenient gap in that hedge...
Other side of the hedge.
The forbidden hillside.
Wouldn't this be a great place to plant a tree?
Only way to continue around is through the road. Run!
Playing in traffic.
The forbidden sidewalk.
Coming at the PEDESTRIANS PROHIBITED signs from the other direction.
Extra bonus trespassing opportunity!
