"You move so much you must be a gypsy"
I've heard this my whole life in various forms. Could this be the
reason I am compelled to roam the globe? Another possible explanation
could be the ever popular "Ants in my pants".
By why gypsy? I'm not Romanian so why not Bedouin since I currently
live in the Middle East? Or since I'm of Irish origin maybe I am more
of a "Pavee" or Lucht siúil.
Anyway, despite the direct affront to my Irish heritage, I'm Gypsy Sage. Nice to meet you. :)

Last year I was finishing up my Master's thesis research in Jordan. Both the community I lived in as well as part of my research dictated I dressed to Muslim modesty standards at all times.
Back home visiting family in Vegas, my cousin presented me with this crown on my birthday. Oh how they know me! ;)
One of the coolest adventures I ever had was the time when I ventured to Beirut Lebanon all by myself. Looking back and wasn't brave I was delusional, but my coolness factor when way up in my opinion! ;)
This picture made it because, well you don't have a sweet pink fuzzy hat like this do you? I didn't think so... oh yeah.. and amazing Budapest in the background.

Free hugs, may seem a bit clichee' now, but at the time it was a defining moment. It was right after returning from Jordan where I didn't have contact with anyone of the opposite sex (not even a handshake) for 6 months.
