I can do that.

I will be frightened out of my mind, but I can do that.

That would necessitate more than one player going at it.

We'll need a team to do reconnaissance, separate from the crew that shows up to plant the flag. Several lookouts would be required, one or two someones with great climbing abilities, at least one smaller team to create a distraction, and of course at least two get away drivers (more or less depending on the amount of people already involved.)

Difficult, but the Scientology Castle Caper is very doable.

In the end, it might turn out no more difficult than just walking through the access stairs onto the roof, like that time I accidentally got into Oliver Stone's production offices in Santa Monica.

Is there a Scientiology Castle?!!!

I can feel greatness coming from LAØ. Yet again.
And the Hollywood sign has a security system??!!
And is there really a copycat sign in Ciudad Juarez? I need to find a picture of that.

No, it is not the bellybutton of the world

Watching the Juarez sign is safe to conclude that according to the wiki article any sign with white block uppercase letters "deliberate mimics the Hollywood sign". [insert eye rolling here]

Yes there's a Scientology castle, and yes, it is frightening. And it is coincidentally enough, where this task's first step was located.

And yes, the Hollywood sign has security. Including video, audio, and motion.

This copycat is protected by no more than a chain-link fence and perhaps ghosts.
CHINATOW NLAND

It may make for good practice, Senator.

You know I'm ready and willing to take on both the Scientology Castle and the Hollywood sign (and I'll even throw in a Chinatownland sign for kicks).

Be careful - the Scientology castle's probably protected by powerful Scientology sorcerers. And lovecraftian cultists.

I snuck into a convention of upper-level Scientologists one time, with a couple friends.

We distributed pope cards, and one of my conspirators stole a sticker which he affixed to his hat.

Bring on them sorcerors! I've got Fists of Rocket Punch with 2d6 damage, anyone caught in this attack has to roll to defend against a 4d20 Face-Rocking.

And Lincoln there is all but unstoppable now that he's mastered Cyclone Talon.

I am in FULL support of this.
If it is done, I totally volunteer to be in the distraction team.

Although, for what it's worth, I'm pretty sure if we completed it as Level 0 and then submitted it as completion of "The High Score Task" we wouldn't get flagged.

The Hollywood sign has security, but hiking up there is definitely doable. I've heard varying accounts of how far it is-from 1/2 mile to 3 miles. I think the first part of the walk is on paved road, but after a bit you actually have to climb on rocks and stuff (which is why this probably shouldn't be completed at night). I might be heading up to the sign with a friend in the next couple days, I will let you guys know how tough it is.

Oh, and in case it wasn't obvious, I am SO down for this.

The mole people are good allies to have, they are no friend to the C.H.U.D.. Commendable work Mr. Haberdash.
