i feel ambivalent about this task. on one hand, i can't do anything outside my nature. that's what makes it my nature. plus, the things that i love respect my nature. in most cases, i love them because they are beautiful and nourishing to my nature. so defying my nature, even if it were possible, wouldn't be beneficial to them.
but maybe i see the intent? put love above your expectations? change yourself in devotion? i'm sure there will be some intense completions.
I think you can defy your nature.
The tricky part is to define the concept of "now". Because once you defy your nature to do something outside of it, the action of doing it makes it become part of your nature. But if you define a "now" starting point, then you can objectively look back and see how your nature changed from before that point to the crossover point past the "now" that you established.
Because my nature changed the moment I accepted the challenge from Lank and signed up for SFØ. This Lincoln guy does stuff that I would never do. But that definition only works if you choose the "now" point of my Zerø Day.

I feel queasy thinking about this. This is what i try hardest not to do most of the time. But sometimes it's best to defy your nature, and for what better cause then for love?
If you're going to defy your nature, make it worthwhile.
