Tasks / Self-Negation Protocols/Administering Dissolution

Self-improvement initiatives often take the form of the regimen, the stringent plan which promises to enhance you if only you can abide by its rules. They work, in other words, by guaranteeing to bring form and rhythm to your life, to make you legible and enumerable to yourself.
By contrast, of course, dissolution and decadence are often figured as lapses in judgment and counting -- hence symptomatic statements like "I had no idea how much I was eating/drinking/smoking until I had finished the bag of chips/was passed out in the hot tub/was coughing my lungs up."
Your task is to reverse the game: delineate and operationalize a set of self-negation protocols. The first step in this process will be to approximate how many times in a week or day you engage in a particular "healthy" or "unhealthy" behavior. The second step is to create the regimen; e.g. "I've calculated that on an average Saturday I have about five drinks. Now I'll make sure to have seven." Or, "I do 500 crunches a week. This week I'll do zero crunches and instead consume exactly 500 French Fries." Make sure the regimen is exacting and precise; your New Week's Resolution shouldn't be formless.
Implement the protocols within the "field" for a week and report your findings. Was your desire augmented? Diminished? Neither? Did subjecting your "vices" to enumeration give you an organizational pleasure?

neat task.
though, mostly the reason i fail at regimen is i take no pleasure in its organization.
actually for a time i have wanted to cultivate some sort of self-negation intentionally, such as a prescription drug addiction. then, i found i hated the effects of the drugs i had on hand like vicodin. it made me buzzed in a hyper unpleasant way then gave me the worst of hangovers. so, something else is in order... i will have to give it some thought.
I agree with Darkaardvak. But I thought about it for a little and I think I understand now.
I'm gonna assume the 55 points is for reading the entirety of this task.
I'll submit my praxis when I get around to it.
