This reminds me of the time I realized that the listed pronunciation of "Jack Kerouac" on Wikipedia was "Jacque Kerooic." (some people don't understand IPA). I had to change it three times, as people kept changing it back "citing" sources that were obviously external copypastas/summaries of the wikipedia page. Information begets misinformation.
