Time (and medical attention) Heals All Wounds by zer0gee
August 20th, 2008 1:28 AM
On Sunday, July 13th, I went a-tasking with CG0. The next night, as I was changing into my PJs, I discovered that I had wounded myself during the previous evening's escapade. While climbing over a six-foot welded steel wall, I thought I had just caught my skirt on the pokey welded steel spikes on the top (put there to keep hooligans such as CG0 from, well, climbing over the six-foot wall). But, no, I had actually caught myself as well.
The cut is about two and a half inches long, and did not start to hurt at all until I actually saw it, which is often the way these things work. For the first couple of days, it was pretty raw and painful and stuck to my undershorts - I had a three-day business conference and did a lot of sitting down. About four days in, I spaced out after showering and scrubbed the damn thing with a towel, doing extra hit points of damage and prolonging the healing process. It healed up pretty fast after that - the bruises surrounding the cut were gone about a week and a half after the initial injury. At the time of this writing, it's a little longer than a month after the injuring, and it appears that I will most probably end up with a decent scar. This neither surprises nor alarms me, as I mark up fairly easily, don't mind scars, and have a funny story to tell.
WARNING: The following photos are by no means pornographic, but they ARE pictures of my rear end, so you might not want to be checking them out at work, around children, or if you just don't want to see pictures of my rear end.

Aye, L.
sorry
Was the wall rusty? Maybe that's not just a scar, but a wall-rust tattoo. Is that even possible?

I don't think so, but that would suit me very well.
Grocery store picture. That's the one.
