Document A Construction by JJason Recognition

INSTRUCTIONS: Document A Construction

img129336815.jpg
I documented the construction of an athletic center at a local college. There are a lot of pictures. This is because there was a lot to document. I have chosen not to upload all one hundred twenty photos, instead placing them in online in a photo album and uploading only my favorite twelve pictures plus two short videos. The vast majority of the photos take place inside the construction site because it was night and therefore hard to photograph the outside. Many of the photographs are fairly dark and kind of blurry - this is because I didn't use a flash for fear of being noticed. I will also lay out the feeling of the place in those senses that cannot be depicted in photos:
img129936816.jpgSound: The entire place was very quiet except for the constant flap of the plastic tarps, which were being blown on by giant fans, and the occasional area with dripping water. The entire effect was rather unsettling - it always sounded like somebody was moving around behind you.
img130636817.jpgFeel: Everything was slightly covered by dust. By and large I attempted to touch as few things as possible. figuring this would make me less likely to get caught.
img132136818.jpgTemperature: The construction site was noticeably inside than on the outside. This is likely because of the numerous hot air blowing machines, who's purpose I do not fully understand.
img135436823.jpgSmell: The complex smelled like concrete, dust, and dirt.
img132636819.jpgEmotional Impact: The entire place was very impressive, if only because of the size. I rarely spend time in enclosed spaces that big so it had the feeling similar of being in a cathedral. I only had a feeling of trespassing in the areas that were set up for the construction workers - everyplace else I felt right at home. Other than that there was the aforementioned paranoia - I was fairly worried about being caught while inside the building but, paradoxically, not at all worried while I was outside the building.
img133436820.jpgAura: Purple-ish
img134036821.jpgTaste: I refrained from tasting any of the construction sight, so I couldn't say.
img135336822.jpgAtmospheric Pressure: Normal
img137536825.jpgGhosts: After much investigation I can say that the construction site is not haunted. This may be because of the 24 hour electric lights in the facility, which would drive any ghosts away.

A tragic final note - while documenting this construction, I lost my beloved hat, which is pictured in my first player photograph. I did not realize this until I left the construction sight and given the size of the site, I do not anticipate it being recovered. This is very tragic but I will soldier on - sometimes sacrifices have to be made in the name of tasking.

Do you work there?

No. No I do not. This task would've counted as trespassing, but that's retired.

But of course.
