Words count don't include words found in picture descriptions. Of course, I did not take all of these pictures nor write of all these words. In fact, for some of these praxis I didn't write any of the words nor take any of the pictures.

Pictures
Pictures were taken from a variety of cameras, all of which I borrowed, on account of not owning a camera. I owned a camera once, but it got lost at a pillow fight. It was tragic. Cameras were either borrow from the Macalester College Library (which has a Canon PowerShot A620) or from Doktor Harmon (who has a Nikon Coolpix S9). Sometimes I also use screenshots. These are taken with a screenshot program that came my mac called "Grab."

Once pictures are taken, they're promptly uploaded onto my computer, where they stay until they are uploaded into the praxis. Originally uploaded pictures would be placed in a program called iPhoto, which would automatically upload them and put them in folders and everything for me. Once in iPhoto photos would be kept together, since they'd been already filed away and were out of my life. But I don't have iPhoto anymore cause one time I deleted all my files. These days uploaded photos are placed in a folder labeled "sf0" on my desktop, in a subfolder called "Unsorted." From there they are sorted in folders for each of the tasks I'm working on, where they stay until being uploaded into a praxis. Once files in here are used, they are deleted, since I don't need them anymore.

I began worrying about the size of my pictures after Reverse Archeology, when Loki chewed me out for my pictures crashing people's browsers and taken up too much server space. He was, of course, correct and I was wrong so I resolved from that day forward to stop doing that. At first I resized my images in Gimp, but that took a while and was annoying. So I was greatly joyed when I found that I could easily resize whole stacks of pictures with a little program on the Mac called Automator. This had made the entire process much quicker.

Many pictures taken for a task don't end up in the final praxis. This is for one of two reasons - either 1. They suck or 2. They represent a direction for the task that I ended up not going with. Some of those have been attached to this praxis, along with descriptions of what became of them.

Some tasks never hit praxis. Either the final results weren't impressive enough or I lost interest or something else happened. These uncompleted tasks leave behind pictures that will never see the light of day. Until now! I have included a picture from ten tasks that I will not be submitting. See if you can guess what praxis I was trying to complete! The answers will be revealed after some people have made some guesses. They're from my entire SF0 career and in vaguely chronological order.

Video
Video was usually recorded on the aforementioned cameras, since any digital camera worth it's salt can also record video. They are similarly stored on iPhoto (if you current in the past) or in a desktop folder (if you current in the present).

Sounds
All the sounds in my praxis came from one of three sources:
1. Phoned on Nokia cell phone, via the SF0 voicemail service (as seen in Audio Tour 1 or Portsmouth Sinfonia, for example)
2. Recorded via my computer's internal microphone (as seen in Once Upon A Time)
3. On my Sansa iClip mp3 player, which can also record (as seen in Stranded)
Any needed editing of the voice clips, usually cutting out boring bits, is done in Audacity.

Words
My words are written in English in the roman character set on a standard Qwerty keyboard. The events described are drawn from my memory and while I try to write a task as soon as possible after it's completion, sometimes I don't. Tasks usually aren't revised before submission, cause who has the time for that? Spell check in praxises are done with Firefox spell checking.

Impressive documentation skills you've got there. It was interesting to learn how you do write-ups, the process sounds very familiar. The lost praxes are intriguing! I love the sculpture of your head and the bovine posted door.

Love it

As documentation of documentation it certainly counts, but isn't all that exciting. The photos from tasks that might have been, on the other hand, are fascinating. I applaud you for letting most of them stand alone without explanation.

I hope posting a sampling of orphaned proofs becomes common.

In honor of the approaching new era, I have included two more lost tasks - tasks that I will not be completing as I'd honestly rather have more room on my task list for new tasks.

This puts me up to 950 pictures for my career so far, which is not bad at all.
