This praxis was brought to you the Ezra Buckley Foundation
A Small Act of Symbolic Magic
The question has been asked what history the Ezra Buckley Foundation will created. In truth, I do not know. To plan out an elaborate and well supported piece of history and then attempt to shove it into reality would be an exercise in folly.
Instead, the Ezra Buckley society will build slowly. Piece by piece we will beguile bits of neo-history into the world, each one building up on and propping up the former ones. Some pieces may contradict other - no matter. History contradicts itself. If our pseudohistory did not, it would fail to integrate itself seamlessly. Some pieces will be entirely unrelated to the others. This too does not matter, as we must cast a wide net if we are to find which of the many doors to history has been left unlocked.
The Ezra Buckley societies first action since it's creation was a small piece like this. I got my hands on two books of history. I did not purchase these books (it would be wrong to finance the enemy while on official foundation business) but instead got them from a collection of free books available at the local college. Of all the books I chose one on ancient Greek history and one on medieval science and change. By my hand these artifacts of the enemy would be transformed into vectors for pseudohistory.
I made two additions to the books before I released them back into the world. First, I inscribed a short dedication on the back of the title page. This had the simple purpose of claiming these books as the property of the Ezra Buckley Foundation and declaring them parts of our larger project.
The second bit was a bit more complicated. I had originally intended to insert pages of pseudohistory in between the pages of regular history, but this ultimately proved to be beyond my technical capacities. So instead I opted to insert the pseudohistory via a more direct, if less subtle method. For each book I concocted a bit of pseudohistory to match the subject of the book and recorded it in the margins, one word in the lower right hand corner of each double page spread. While this is unlikely to fool anyone, fooling anyone is not the intention here. This is an act of symbolic magic, not of trickery. When the reader goes to read history and ends up reading pseudohistory, the pseudohistory is strengthened and the history is weakened. And one small step towards the liberation of all of us is completed.
In the book on greek history, I wrote on Philosopher Xenatus:

While in the Medieval Science book, I wrote on the Suzzettan Hersey:

With the books properly altered, it was merely a matter of releasing them back into the world so that they may be read by unsuspecting members of the general public. I inserted the books into the shelves of a local used book store, in the proper section for each book. I can be confident that these books can be bought as they indistinguishable from the normals books. Bringing the books in was no trouble as well - the history section of this store is in the back of the store, well out of view of the store employees. It was a simple matter of slipping the books out of my coat pocket and onto the bookshelves.
And with that, a blow was struck. Not a huge blow, but a blow nonetheless. The Ezra Buckley Foundation fights on!
