I actually got a little teary-eyed there.

That first graphic kinda sums up how Glasnost has made me feel, even during the short time that I was involved.

So many super tasks there, some I can't believe I'd let myself forget about for even a moment.

I think the best thing about Glasnost has to be that so much happened that I would call good enough to make the video that it couldn't all be included.

Vivat Glasnost!

Simply amazing.

I thought that some of the stuff we do is just brilliant! Curse those outsiders who don't understand.

Up with Glasnost!
Down with Glasnost!
LEFT WITH GLASNOST!

And also left with Insatiability!

There were, of course, many great tasks that I wanted to include, but that I didn't have room for - especially from December! But we don't need as much of a reminder about December, do we? Maybe in a few months...

Thanks for all the great tasking, everyone!

Wow. Still teary eyed.

It is so amazing the number of wonderful things this game does and on such a grand scale. I think there's starting to be a bit of an impact, and all for the better. Gods bless Glasnost! Every one!

Goodbye Glasnost...

Taken this evening from my balcony. You can see that the sun has just set behind the golden gate bridge...

man slideshows accompanied by evocative music are like the most effective way ever at creating automatic nostalgia.

i would wager that someone who has no idea what was going on or even what sf0 is would feel some sort of emotional response at that.

Wow, so many epic tasks. This little website creates so much meaning.

Thanks for taking the time to put together this retrospective for us all, Lank. It does tug at the heartstrings, doesn't it? You're still number one!

That was amazing, Lank. Thank you.

(If I was really a good person, I'd remix a new version with little pop-up video annotations. The beginning of Glasnost I mostly know through the images I kept seeing on the front page, and I feel like I should go back and learn me some history...)
