sign. Explain why it might have this effect.

This should help prepare you to think outside the box...

The only explanation I have is perhaps the person who installed the paper towel dispenser didn't see the sign. Or perhaps the sign was attached so well to the wall that it couldn't possibly be moved to accommodate the paper dispenser.

This picture made me laugh. I am also imagining some ridiculous situation where the towel dispenser was there first, and then someone was instructed very specifically to put up the sign 3 inches to the right of the mirror and thus had to slide the sign behind an existing object.
