I went on a date and decided I needed a picture of the woman I was on the date with, because I knew there wouldn't be another date, so I wanted to capture her in a photograph, but I didn't want her face in the picture or her to know about it, so I took a picture of her under the table at the restaurant without her knowing.

She technically was a stranger when I took the photo, as I'd never met her before this meeting, and I'll likely never see her again. So I guess she's not really a stranger in that I spoke words to her, but I don't really know her, in fact I have already forgotten her name.

I must say, this is devious and dangerous!
"What was that flash under the table?"
although I don't think this woman technically counts as a 'stranger' I liked the story enough to vote.
Just to defend my position. Preemptively.
