I took a picture every day to celebrate the end of Glasnost and to document Interregnum and as a way of saying goodbye to those awesome eras.

So now I complete this task as a way of welcoming Insatiability into our midst.

I was going to do this task yesterday morning as the task is written; from the highest point in San Francisco. Mostly because I was there. But as sunrise got closer and closer I started to realize that I wanted to do this from my home. I wanted to do this one in L.A. (and the fact that I had stayed up way too late naked in a hot tub with my fellow players and I was really tired helped cement my decision). But I really like that I have done this in my home. I think it lends a certain sense of credibility and truthfulness to what I believe will be a very personal and revealing era for me. And this feels like just the way to start it off.

So here is my sunrise. Both physical and spiritual and metaphorical and actual. Taken from the (almost) highest point in L.A. the Griffith Park observatory.
