The Beautiful Letter by Lincøln
January 9th, 2008 1:30 AM / Location: 34.105195,-118.3191So I wrote a letter (kind of a poem really) and split it into fifteen parts and distributed it around Hollywood taped to poles at certain intersections which, when the dots are connected between each location where the individual pieces are, a picture is formed, and that picture spells out the meaning behind the letter.

The reasoning behind the letter I wrote can be seen here in my completion of A Strange Kind of Love.

We don't have the cross streets for #6- I can see that one is Wilton, I think the other is Franklin...
Yay Google Maps. Lincoln, I'm going to ask you permission before I post my guess- is it ok with you?
The meaning is not a secret Charlie, and Ink Tea has already deduced the meaning, but will hold off on the beautiful work she did in proving her guess until those of us left coasters have had a chance to at least be awake and see this and maybe figure it out for themselves (thanks Ink).
Nice.
I'll have to wait until I get home before I try this, but it looks great.
The connection may be unrelated, but I still get the creeps every time I go by Catalina and Sunset.
Yeah, ending on Catalina and Sunset is near an unfortunate landmark, and now that I think about it so does Tamarind & Franklin. The proximity to those landmarks for both the beginning and ending of this journey is accidental and no meaning should be derived from this fact.
And it is a bit weird and it creeps me out too.
Thank you.
I have gotten word that the intended recipient went to the starting point and the paper had been removed. So at least the first one is gone now. And she has not seen her Beautiful Letter. :(
Is the meaning a secret?
