I will make many more works of art using this medium, but I don't see how that's relevant to the task. I created three unique Works Of Art using an Alternative, Infrequently Used Medium. Three's not enough?
Oh, three's enough...
except, to me, the task calls for one to be made uniquely for it. Although the 3 you made are really still only hours prior, they are in a way still prior completions, and were made with other criterion in mind (the criteria here being to simply explore the new medium).
I'm just a stickler for individuating tasks. Co-completions are well within the rules, and I'd never, ever, ever, ever flag someone for it, but I think each task deserves its own unique completion. I'm sure there are places where I'd make an exception (your completion for Document a Construction, for instance, would probably fall as a special case in my book) but overall I value the unique aspects of the completions and that's where I place my votes.
Not really a criticism of you or the task/completion so much as a statement of how I vote.
How do you explain sir, a vote for both this and this?
I'm just messing with you. I get your point. And I'm not tasking for points, your comments mean more to me than votes.
Overexuberance
If you hadn't noticed, that Bex girl is hot... expecially in the hero outfit... I can't promise I won't vote for everything she does if she does it wearing the costume... heh
And I haven't said enough how much I do love these sculptures... I hope your use of cello/acetate products increases and prospers greatly, because they are beautiful (and not just the Bex one... though we could always use more of those)!
You are truly the Interrex!
Thanks Tom. One of these days I will make it over there to Great Yarmouth and we will task like there is no tomorrow my friend.
There is no day after tomorrow for Interregnum, nicely won.
I like the light through the sculpture. These things call for some colored LEDs inside too. Maybe the person who took your statue has installed it in their house with extra lighting.
OK, JTony, you win. I made one more just for this task and for nothing but this task.
Lincoln, you are a science genius man
NICE!!!!
Soon we will have an army of invisible warriors.
Yay!!! Vote!!! Vote!!! Vote!!!
(and he's particularly cool!)
I just wanted to throw a link out for Mark Jenkins, who has done some wildly incredible things using this very method of tape casting. There is no end to what you can do with this simple casting technique!
And, of course, endless respect for Lincoln, the only person brilliant enough to even attempt a full-body caste without an assistant.
Wow-thanks for posting that- those are amazing!
Ya put one more (small) sculpture up there that's unique to this task, and ya got tripple votes from me (well, if I could do tripple votes).
