1) the most perfect music selection possible for that video
2) monty python reference!
3) bringing the most ridiculous smile to my face
Man, I love this task. Plus I love you guys both, so classy.
The video made me laugh so hard. I absolutely love it. Linked half a dozen non-player friends to it, who were all equally amused.

I don't know about the ethical implications of hurling squirrels across parks or baiting them with apricots but, to be honest, I don't care in the least, thus this was a good task, a very good task.
Agreed with everything you said. I'm not sure squirrels are viewed the same way in SF and in the UK.
In MN, we view them as minor deities and build shrines to them. Twice a year we travel into the countryside and perform the ritual Squirrel Dance in their honor, present them with small gifts, and then invite them into our homes for a week of feasting. We treat them pretty much the same a rabbits and ducks, in that respect.
This is definitely a local thing, though. Minnesota squirrels are aggressive. Minnesota squirrels know no fear. Minnesota squirrels, if you do not appease them, will carry a grudge to the very ends of their short rodent lives and hand it off to the next generation, creating a blood feud from which there can be no escape. Plus they're in league with the jackalopes, and you do not want to cross the jackalopes.
In North Carolina, where we don't have jackalopes, everyone pretty much leaves the rodents alone. The pine trees, on the other hand, have a tendency to paint things yellow every spring, so we are in awe of their power.
I never realized that squirrels could actually be suspended via peanut. Brilliant.
