and try to look at each other
without laughing. Remember who
liked who sophomore year,
and what the school production was.

in the back like butterflies.

These days we're constantly
keeping in touch and having
great summers, fitting
friendship into our schedules.

We're happier now
that we miss each other.
It's strange, it's not like
anything we've faced before.
