BART Anagram Map by Tøm

January 9th, 2008 3:36 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make an anagram map of BART in the vein of these boing boing.
Use this map or any other map of BART as your source.

For this, I took a section of Great Yarmouth's Bus route map, horribly run by First Eastern.

Some of the new names are quite good (and better than the originals in my opinion). My favourites are Ham Tram (Martham), Inert Town (Winterton) and Crab Sty (Scratby), I had to shorten some of the names, like Whitehorse Roundabout (I mean, come on! If you can anagram that, I'll vote for your comment) to just Whitehorse (Show it Here).

Also, the company nicely anagrams to Rifts (First) or Buss Rift (First Bus), which are both appropriate for the level of service we receive. I attempted First Eastern Travel, but failed, miserably. (again, if you can do it, please comment!) The slogan didn't anagram into much of a description, but Mars Font Ring Lavert sounds fine to me.

I also thought it was funny that Great Yarmouth anagram-ed into 'A Rage Hurty Tom' (yes I'm allowed that).

This was the map I used.

Who on earth ever thought that "Scratby" would be a good name for a town?

Ooh, here's a nice little piece of land, a smattering of houses, a few trees, lets call it Scratby - that's sure to attract the punks and the winos. After all, it sounds like a fucking skin disease.
