Overkill by Secret Agent, Sombrero Guy, Haberley Mead, Optical Dave, GYØ Ben, KristinawithaK, Adam, Charlie Fish, Tøm

INSTRUCTIONS: Take a childhood pastime to the extreme.

The UKØ gathering had to result in some serious tasking.

MKØ, GYØ, LondonØ and formerly-BKØ-but-soon-to-be-GAØ all gathered on a sunny couple of days in August, and decided to complete the Overkill task.

At first, we opted for an epic water fight. We had large guns, Very Large Guns, and RIDICULOUSLY large guns. We had water balloons, and we had normal balloons that got VERY BIG when you filled them with water.

We had two flags: an SFØ flag and a GYØ flag. And two teams. And a park.

The result? A mad game of Capture the Flag. No-one escaped a soaking (except Vixen, who was documenting), and Charlie Fish eventually outran the opposition (and got lucky with a water balloon bounce-off) to win.

It was big, but it wasn't enough. We wanted something more. Vixen came up with the perfect idea:

EXTREME HOPSCOTCH!

Basically, we bought up all the chalk in Milton Keynes, drew six stupidly long hopscotch courses on the big plaza outside the train station, and then got random members of the public to join us in WACKY HOPSCOTCH RACES!

We had to start at the first "launch point", run to the swirly choice machine, then hop our way through one of the endless hopscotch tracks and launch ourselves back to the beginning. There was a subtle blend of silly rules and no rules.

We went through a lot of chalk drawing the courses. In the background, you can see two of the girls who we persuaded to race with us. Yay! Random members of the public tasking!

Hop! Hop faster, little fish, GYØ Tom is right on your fin!

I wish I'd been there for the water fight...

The hopscotch was good fun, though.

That happened to me too. Is there some kind of vote point lottery or an allocation of welfare points?

I suddenly got around 30 without deserving it before this task was submitted.
