Seeing as how parkour is seen as an artform can someone from AofA have a possibility of completing this task, because I am incredibly interested in parkour. Possibly if we could post creative moves and pictures?
Hurray! Someone posted a parkour task!
I don't think I'll participate, though. I'm not very flexible. :D
Although Parkour is not exactly an art form (it's a technique for getting from point A to point B efficiently), I agree that everyone should be able to do it.
You can use it in both Urban and natural environments (Biome), it could be considered an aesthetic pastime (Aesthesmatics), and I know it brings people together (Humanitarian Crisis). Plus, tons of virtual reality games feature parkour-like actions (Equivalenz).
About time this task got listed...
Too late, however. Far too late.
Too late for me too.
Can I get credit for learning slightly beyond the basics, since the basics are all I've learned thus far?
What if I wouldn't have started were it not for SF0, even though I started before this task was live?
So someone suggest task "Intermediate Parkour".
what constitutes "basic parkour"?
for example, is there a list of parkour skills which one must learn in order to have completed this task?
or is it fairly vague?
im not sure if my "skills" count as qualifying. =P
a few members from bwo are active traceurs.
I had no idea this task existed.
For the people that already have parkour skills it would be cool to teach the basics of parkour to others. (As a way of completing this task.)
There is also the task "SF0 Skill Exchange". So you might learn something in return for teaching parkour.
[It's generally not helpful to perform or submit a single praxis to several tasks, because one is just blocking one's own opportunities for more awesomeness that way. But then in this case, there might be two awesome things taught and learned.]
