Not originally meant for this team, still here is my first volley:

The re-tired task Language "Encryption".

Like Lincoln, I have also competed this (with more yet to come!)

Like Lincoln, Haberley and Adam, I have also completed this.

Level Zer0 completion of CBAs.

A bit of a retroactive completion, but I like the thing too much to not put it up!

Play God, with my favourite little reptile.

Completed a couple of these before actually joining the team, so here they are.

Here's a quick little silly one: Better than Artpad

I really had higher hopes for lvl Ø.

I was hoping to encourage people to go out ans shplank pre-tasks in the real world. Instead I have found that most of the completions I inspired have turned out to be computer based completions that simply add to this growing comment based style of playing SFØ; short and with very little thought invested. What I was searching for were epic completions by players inspired by obscure tasks that the professors didn't have high hopes for. People are enjoying taking part and that is good; but I simply had higher hopes than nearly a dozen completions of 6º to Kevin Bacon.

Soon Shålahko, soon.

Lincoln~

That is actually a LvL Ø completion I really admire.
It was everything I could have dreamed of when I came up with the concept.
I still hold out hope that other epic LvL Zerø completions are soon to come!

Note, this was meant to be a reply to BlueberryMarscarpone's first posts above - threading seems to be not working, at least for me.

I see your point. But, by my count, level-Ø completions so far break down rather better than ordinary completions. Four really interesting ones (one retired rather than pretired, but at least worth zero points), an equal number which are clever and fun to read even if they didn't require all that much effort, and the rest about which the most you can say is that it was probably more fun to do them than to not do them. Maybe not what you hoped for, but pretty decent stats compared to a random viewing of the praxis page.

If you ask me, there's no harm in the little tasks, either here or on the praxis page, so long as they don't make it impossible to find the big ones. Wouldn't mind seeing even more big ones here, though.

A New Level Zero Task for everyone.
I can see what you are driving at Loki;
Here is a LvL 0 task I encourage everyone to complete!

I think my D&D picture that's been on my player photo page since Gygax died falls into that category. Oh no wait, I do have a better one. I have to go find it.

@Susy Derkins!

Wow just what I have always wanted to see come out of equivelanz!!!
Way to rock!
How come there aren't any pictures of the finished belt or Doc wearing it?

posted by teucer on July 11th, 2008 3:09 PM

We were hoping it would be unpretired by the time we got back to submit it.

But this is better, because now we can both do it again!

How about this?

posted by Peter Garnett on August 22nd, 2008 3:54 PM
