Well, we won't go there, then.

Hee!

I kept thinking I was missing something, seeing your player photo and not seeing the associated task, zer0gee. Great tasking, all around.

Oh. This reminds me of a going away treasure hunt we did for a friend of mine's going away party. I'm simultaneously heartened and kind of nostalgically sad.

I demand that you describe Antonio and the hand-off of the map.

Dax:

It was brief and un-piratey, so I didn't emphasize it in the proof. I was waiting for the Stephen King reading to start, when at the appointed time of 6pm I noticed a young man in a long dark coat with a large spider pin on his lapel. He stood at the edge of the crowd, looking at a handheld device (I assume at a photo of me). He matched up the image with the person, came over, and handed me the bottle. I thanked him and tried to introduce myself, but he quickly departed. :( Perhaps Spidere had instructed him not to interact with me very much?

My instructions were simply to bring and deliver the bottle to you. I informed him of where you would be, and when, as well as giving him photos of you so he could identify you and the spider pin so that you could identify him. I had talked with him about the map and my burying location, so he may have just wanted to avoid giving anything away. :) I was really impressed that you made it there from a totally different direction than I'd expected, too--it was great to read your account of planning and finding!

"Trying to maintain a balance between effective guidance and awesome."

And you succeeded!

This was really touching to receive. :) Thank you so much, zer0gee! I was completely surprised, and it makes me smile whenever I look at it.
