Professor Amoeba Man |
September 5, 2012
"Myths and legends die hard in America. We love them for the extra dimension they provide, the illusion of near-infinite possibility to erase the narrow confines of most men's reality. Weird heroes and mould-breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of 'the rat race' is not yet final".
- Hunter S. Thompson
From the Desk of Amoeba Man:
Greetings, or in the case that you are for one reason or another incapable of processing greetings, Lack Thereof.
Never forget (and always remember) the following things:
Commit to the Story, never turn away a tale honestly told, always give a crazy idea an even break, don't drink anything that goes cloudy at the last moment. Do your best and, when appropriate (or inappropriate, as the case may be), your worst. Remember Vervunhive, forget about It, and don't discuss that thing we agreed you wouldn't discuss.
To those who have read this far:
The above is an experiment I'm working on; it's a memetic thought parasite and that paragraph is the vector. I don't know what it does yet, but zowee am I excited to find out! PM me if you experience ennui, or crippling lack thereof.
To the best of my knowledge, I'm the only Player in Halifax (repeated investigation has only ever indicated that this is the case). It is, therefore, my stated goal to turn Halifax into the tasking capitol of the world. Also to expose the unsaid world of Fiction that creeps beneath the shambling parody of reality that masquerades as Truth.
It's a work in progress.

I'm curious to know at what point this praxis became too long for you to read.
I ask only because I'm worried if I draw a picture you'll just look at the top inch and then quit.
You couldn't just vote, you had to RAM it home with a pun.
Incidentally, if anyone is wondering what I'm doing that isn't a task right now, I run a webcomic called I Draw Florida Man (on Twitter @iDrawFloridaMan), and I'm currently updating a serial novel called Floodgate Star here: http://figment.com/books/623611-Floodgate-Star.
In a two bedroom flat up Not Happening street, rooming with the remainder of the score.
