Add a Useful Rope by JJason Recognition

July 17th, 2009 8:35 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: I often find on my adventures that someone has installed a useful rope. It helps me to get somewhere I want to go, like up a tree, or down a steep muddy slope.

Please, install a useful rope.

Before you can add useful rope, you have to have some rope. And I didn't have any rope. I did, however have this:

If you ask me, this is not rope. It is too small. This is clearly string. So I took three strands of it and weaved them together. But even this was too small to meet even my minimum rope standards. So I got six more strands, weaved them into two more sub-ropes, and then weaved those together into one larger piece.

Now this met minimum rope standards. Step 1, complete. Now that I had some rope, I could install it someplace where it would be useful.

I installed my rope into a board. I did this by drilling two holes into either side of board, running the rope through the holes, and tying off the ends of the rope so it doesn't slip out. With this simple action, I installed my rope onto the board.

Now you might be thinking "That doesn't look so useful to me. I think this is a useless rope." But by thinking that you have only revealed your deep ignorance. My board with rope through it has tons of uses. You can use it as a shelf.

Or a fashion accessory

But best of all, you can use to make crop circles!!!1!!

Now that's useful! And none of it would be possible without the rope.

Not really useful.

:) But a great sales pitch.

Maybe that's what wallabies use.

I am a fan of crop circles.

I am unconvinced of your fashion, but crop circles are fun.

Your circle technique needs a bit of work, but I dont think that reflects poorly on the the useful rope :)

Please update with any results of your UFO communicaton attempt. \\//

At least one of my points is for the home made rope, you have dishonoured all who merely purchase rope.

Good job with making rope, and I do approve of crop circles. Though I might quibble about whether a rope that it attached to a mobile object like a board is really "installed," it does seem useful.

Hooray!
