Document documentation by Lincøln
March 20th, 2008 6:24 PMThat's what I call a certain category of photos that I love taking. It stands for "Pictures of Pictures" or "Photos of Photos" I love taking pictures of people taking pictures. Apparently so does Myrna Minx. CM does this as well. He only got the name POP from me. He is at least as good if not better at taking awesome POPs as I.
(Hey CM, if you want to collaborate and add up your photos for this task, feel free to let me know. I only put up one half of the cool POPs we took of each other)
So here you will find a small sampling of my enormous collection of POPs. (I only have as many as I have on my lappy's hard drive with me here in Seattle) But I think there is a fair sampling of quality POPs. You'll notice that many of these are retroactive, which is true, but many I took in hopes that this would someday become a task. And I have taken some new ones just for this task. So without further ado:

I think you might havve been looking for this set, actually.
This is completely awesome, I'm glad to finally see POP make it here. I'm touched by the invitation, but I don't want to snag your thunder.
If nothing else, because I know you'll be tickled by it, I have this to add:
Rather than just giving you my vote, I contribute back a little.
Ooooh now there is a super vote (comment vote) if I ever saw one!
Ink, those are beautiful. You took the form to a whole new level of art.
and CM- your rosy pic of Lincoln is loveliness extreme.
Thanks, Myrna.
Don't tell him, but he's actually one of my favorite subjects.
Dear Lank,
Photography moves me. Please see Newton's Third Law.

I can get you a copy, if you promise to return it.
God, I need to get round to watching that some time.
And Tac, I think that's the intended reaction.
Wow. There are so so many things about that photo that I love. Just look at that.
These are lush. Remind me of whoever it was who said their desert island book would be the Manhattan white pages--so many people: so many stories. And here so many cameras. I'm especially partial to the ones washed out by other people's flashes.
