Prelude: It's hot. It's really freakin' hot and humid and gross. I want a snow cone, a giant one. I want to bury myself in sweet, delicious, chilly goodness. - JEFFTOWN™
"I feel like this praxis pretty much tells its own story via the pictures." - DELA DEJAVOO
"There was some reticence about doing this task. Increasing the size of something by 10 was, as we quickly found out, a daunting task. We chose a snow-cone, since Chicago has been brutally hot these past few days. What better way to cool down than with a cold icy treat! With little more than the vision of a giant mound of flavored ice floating through our brains, we headed over to the store for supplies." - TOGASHI NI
"Some reticence is an understatement. Once we determined the sheer size of the cone I was fairly sure we wouldn't be able to accomplish it on a 90+ degree summer day. I requested we wait until January, when there would be more raw material readily available, but the rest of the team insisted on an icy summer treat and our efforts paid off!" - HAPPY McDEATH
"When we first all got together to discuss tasks yesterday afternoon, I wasn't sure we'd even get around to actually selecting a task. Once we did finally pick one after an hour of discussion and debate, I honestly could not forsee a successful conclusion. The challenges that loomed in front of us seemed too daunting, such as: what materials do we use, how do we construct a pointy bottom for a 40 inch long paper cone that won't get crushed, and how in the world will it hold about 30 lbs of ice? My brain was exhausted of creative reserves (I had literally just completed the editing of Red Light, Green Light with Jefftown™) and there were times I wanted to throw my hands in the air and give up. But that is the power of doing things in groups of highly creative people... things just kept happening... moving forward... solutions discovered... devices crafted... and suddenly, with laughter spilling everywhere... sweet sweet success." - AMBY D.

So brilliant! But I want to know what happened to the snow cone!
Awesome! The attention to detail of the crinkled edge of the cone really sealed the deal for me. And the joyful giggling on the video!
