Design and conduct a test of subjective perceptions of the passage of a period of time. That is to say, create a situation (or situations) in which your participants do can not check a clock, cellphone, etc; at the end of this, collect each person's impressions of how much time passed. Analyze the results.
Using non-players as study participants is strongly encouraged.

There are 360 degrees in a circle. There are 86,400 seconds in a day. Invent a system of time measurement that makes sense. Campaign for other people to live by your system.
