Why does the main page say this is a new task?
The main page is also a raging alcoholic who beats his children. And he's plenty mean in a bar fight. If I were you, I wouldn't ask such questions. You'll only make him angry.
But the Main Page says he loves me.
No matter how he acts, the main page does love you, baby.
It also displays the task most recently activated - which may mean "a new task just added to the game" or "a retired task just reactivated".

Here in canada there seems to be a short supply of paint, as such we have invented a digital version that will allow me to digitally alter a photograph of you in a potentially flattering (though likely embarrassing) manner.
If you are interested I will task myself to claim the first person to respond as my personal model!
